Four documents are needed to register for TIPS --  the QUSA Waiver, the ACA waiver, the completed registration form and a check made out to TIPS.  Mail all 4 for these documents to T. Symes ( TIPS) 507 Craven St., Beaufort, SC 29902.

NOTE:  To download the forms, click on the "Download Button" in the upper right hand corner of the form page and print from your computer.
What are my stay options?

The Standard Package includes instruction,  lodging Friday and Saturday nights, and 6 meals beginning in the dining room at dinner on Friday evening and ending with lunch on Sunday. Check in may begin at 10 AM, but remember please that lunch is on your own. Cost for this option is $295.
The  Extended Weekend Package is offered to those who want or need to arrive on Thursday.  This includes the standard package plus one additional night of lodging, and three additional meals.  Thursday arrivals are invited to share a "dutch treat" dinner together that evening. Breakfast on Friday morning will be "continental".  Sandwich makings will be provided for lunch on Friday.  Costs for the extended package is $375.

For those traveling long distances for the workshop who may want to stay at the camp on Wednesday evening, accomodations and two additional meals can be provided for a total of $440.
Lodging is designed for three people to a room, thus will be assigned by gender.  We will try to accommodate roommate requests, but can offer no guarantees .  If such is important for you, make a note at the bottom of your registration form.

What do I Bring?
PFD (life jacket), paddling gear, water bottle, wet suit/dry suit/tuilik, VHF radio, nose plugs, sunscreen, rain gear, yoga mat, insulated mug, insect repellent, clothesline to hang up wet gear, weather appropriate clothing, extra towels.  This list is not intended to be all inclusive; you may have individual preferences that you want to bring.
How do I choose what to work on at TIPS?

You can read about much that will be offered on this web site.   But come with an open mind and a willingness to venture out.  It is very likely that more will be offered than you can master in this short time. So think about choosing one or two items for your focus while being ready to try something new and interesting. If you already know a skill that you would like to work on, there is a space on the registration form to specify that so that the organizers can try to meet your needs.  If you are unfamiliar with Greenland rolls , you may acquaint yourself with them at  Please email us at traditional [email protected]  with any other questions or suggestions  you might have.
